DESIGN AND BRANDING
If you want to be technical, you could call Michael Pantuso
a business-to-business integrated marketing communications professional. Or, if you want to be a little more trendy, you could say Michael Pantuso is a brand builder. Certainly, he’s both of those things. But when you get right down to it,
Michael is a designer passionate about design and the role
that design and branding play in providing effective business solutions.
Michael Pantuso Design was founded in 1990 after spending several years with a small marketing communications firm where he worked on the United Airlines, Sears, and a variety of
telecommunications (Motorola, Ameritech, Illinois Bell) accounts. After leaving, Michael began
working closely with a variety of advertising agencies, Fortune 100/500 companies, associations and organizations designing and producing print, identity and new media projects. The past 18 years
have resulted in many creative achievements associated with many levels and types of business.
From the beginning , Michael has always maintained a strong commitment for design excellence.
Design that has meaning and touches people in a way that builds trust. Design that communicates. Clearly. Design that thinks, inspires, and motivates. Why? Because design is fundamental to capturing the heart and soul of a any product, service, or organization. And branding is the gut feeling that follows. It's a gut feeling because people are emotional, intuitive beings. It's a gut feeling because brands are defined by individuals, not companies, markets, or publics.
Why is design and branding so hot?
1) People have too many choices and too little time
2) Most offerings have similar quality and features
3) We tend to base our buying choices on trust (T = R + D | Trust equals reliability plus delight)
Any brand can be charismatic. But first, you have to master the five disciplines
of brand-building.
1) Differentiate. Be Different. Stand-out.
2) Focus. Who are you? What do you do? Why does it matter?
3) Collaborate. Integrate.
4) Innovate. Creativity. Use the right side of the brain. Creative thinking.
5) Cultivate. Business is a process. A living brand is a pattern of behavior, not a stylistic veneer.
