The HON Company Introduces Attune™ Laminate Series: Stylish Line Provides
Flexible Yet Practical, Workplace Solutions Stylish, Contemporary Collection
Created by Qdesign
MUSCATINE, IA – June, 2008 – In today’s nonstop business environment, employees
are under intense pressure to maximize their productivity and meet tight deadlines. This requires a comfortable, personalized and flexible workspace where everything needed to
get the job done is within reach. The new Attune™ Laminate Series from The HON Company offers the perfect solution with a full line of desks, peninsulas, credenzas, stack on storage units, filing and bookcases that are tuned in to the way today’s employees work.
“Attune provides the flexibility busy office workers demand while offering a stylish, contemporary look that is lighter in scale,” said Eric Jackson, vice president of wood casegoods at The HON Company. “We challenged Qdesign, a product design group based near Chicago, to create a more individualized work environment within the context of the typical desk credenza U-shaped configuration; Attune was the perfect solution. The line’s
full array of components allow for workspace personalization, providing maximum comfort and working style while addressing office configuration needs; all factors that directly contribute to increased productivity.”
Suiting both private offices and open-plan environments, Attune incorporates desks that include floating frosted and laminate modesty panels with platinum accents. These mixed materials, along with a vertical-matched wood grain, bring a contemporary look to the series.
The broad selection of customizable storage options is included both under and within the desk station. A modular hutch allows the workspace to be configured based on various
office layouts. A large storage cabinet with three adjustable doors and shelves provides several options to meet individual storage needs. Additional paper management
accessories allow employees to easily organize active projects.
The under-credenza storage includes a file and pull-out printer shelf, allowing users to
clear valuable desk space, maximize under desk storage and store personal items as needed.
Attune also addresses the need for comprehensive technology management. Integrated
wire organization solutions ensure a clutter-free workspace and provide convenient access
to power outlets. USB/AC grommets allow for well-located access to electrical devices, including cell phones, MP3 players, smart phones and digital cameras while wire clips and troughs keep cords out of sight. Additionally, all credenzas and bridges have open modesty panels, further allowing easy access to power and data outlets.
In addition to providing flexibility for varying office layouts and individual workstation personalization, Attune features durable, easy-care laminate that stands up to the rigors
of everyday use while still maintaining its stylish look. For environmentally conscious offices, Attune is Indoor Advantage™ certified by Scientific Certification Systems (SCS) to be in compliance with specific indoor air quality emission requirements. Attune is also covered
by The HON Company’s limited lifetime warranty.
