News from Qdesign May 28, 2010
For Immediate Release:
Qdesign Broadens its Reach for NeoCon 2010

Qdesign’s stylish touch will be visible throughout Chicago’s Merchandise Mart during NeoCon 2010 both in the introduction of eight new product lines for five different companies, as well as in marketing and display initiatives for three manufacturers and a new trade association for independent dealers. Led by Mark Stenftenagel, and based in Oak Brook, IL, less than 20 miles west of the Mart, Qdesign continues its string of strong showings for the third straight NeoCon.  The eight product introductions add to the 13 product lines Qdesign helped bring to market at NeoCon 2008 and 2009, including a Best of NeoCon Gold Award for CCN International sleek AERO conference table in 2009. “In spite of a challenging economy, we’re deepening our relationship with clients and finding new opportunities for growth and innovation,” said Stenftenagel.  “We’re helping clients demonstrate to dealers, the A&D community and to end-users how great design can be amazingly affordable and fully functional.  We also are showing how we can support our product designs with sophisticated marketing, branding and promotional expertise.” The Qdesign-spawned product introductions at NeoCon 2010 include: Arcadia’s Aloft lounge seating series ( #340) BARCO’s Mobi table series and support products (8-4102) HRC’s OakBrook seating series ( Design Studio 225 W. Hubbard one block from the Mart) Lesro’s Mystic table series and Amherst seating (8-1021) Magnuson Group's Sleeve and Sotare recycling systems (7-3022) Regency's OneDesk, a complete open and private office system (7-7070) In addition, Qdesign has added capabilities in marketing/branding, advertising, website development and graphic design through partnerships with Michael Pantuso Design and Bruce Buursma Communications/Words Well Done.  That initiative also will be seen at NeoCon 2010 in four different projects, including: Berco’s NeoCon booth design and marketing campaign INDEAL’s advertising campaign and launch strategy Lesro’s NeoCon booth designs and advertising campaign with website upgrades.

Totally Devoted to Q. That headline might leave you humming, and who could blame you? We've been humming a happy and productive tune here at Qdesign. Here's one high note to hold as we begin a new year: Working with DEMCO Library Interiors, in fewer than nine months, Qdesign developed TotaLibra, a coordinated shelving and furniture library system. It's a beautiful and dynamic offering that blends a steel base with wood and various other materials. Qdesign helped DEMCO find manufacturing partners to bring the design to life. TotaLibra's sophisticated European design influence blends with a symphony of harmonious and functional features for today’s fast-changing libraries. TotaLibra made its impressive debut at this week's mid-winter ALA show in Boston to a prolonged standing ovation. We invite you to visit our website and Facebook page to view TotaLibra photos from the show. And come back often to see what we're planning for an encore!Your friends with perfect "pitch" at Qdesign.
